​Boston Free Burma is a registered nonprofit organization founded by a group of Burmese individuals residing in Massachusetts. Our organization was established in response to the February 1st, 2021, military coup in Myanmar, which disrupted the country’s path toward democracy.


We are committed to supporting the anti-coup movement and standing in solidarity with the people of Myanmar as they fight for justice, freedom, and democracy. Through our initiatives, we aim to:
    •    Raise awareness about the ongoing struggle for democracy in Myanmar.
    •    Provide humanitarian assistance to those affected by the political crisis.
    •    Collaborate with activists, organizations, and local communities to amplify voices from Myanmar.


At Boston Free Burma, we believe that collective action can lead to meaningful change. Together, we can build a future where democracy and human rights are safeguarded for all.

    •    မြန်မာနိုင်ငံရှိ ဒီမိုကရေစီအရေးဆိုင်ရာလူ့အခွင့်အရေးဆိုင်ရာ ပြဿနာများအား အများသိစေရန်
    •    နိုင်ငံရေးအကြပ်အတည်းကြောင့် ထိခိုက်ခံစားနေရသူများအား လူသားချင်းစာနာမှု အကူအညီပေးရန်
    •    မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှ လူသားခြင်းဆိုင်ရာအရေးကိစ္စများကိုအောင် လုပ်ဆောင်ရန် အရေးပါသော အဖွဲ့အစည်းများနှင့် ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ရန်
