A Sunny Day is a musical film that captures the resilience, hope, and unwavering spirit of the Burmese people.
A Sunny Day is a poignant exploration of the challenges faced by the Burmese people, based on real-life events.
The musical was written after months of research, including interviews with student and ethnic leaders as well as victims of the junta’s atrocities.
Through powerful storytelling music, the film highlights themes of resilience, unity, and hope, capturing moments that resonate deeply and encouraging viewers to reflect on the strength of youth and the potential for a brighter future for Burma/Myanmar on the world stage.
The event will take place on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 430 to 7:00 PM at the Moloney Performing Arts Center, University of Massachusetts Lowell.

💙”နေသာတဲ့နေ့” တေးပြဇာတ်ရဲ့cast & crew members ထဲမှာအသက်အရွယ်လူမျိုးဘာသာပေါင်းစုံ လူ ၅၀ ကျော် ပါဝင်ပြီးအားလုံးက ကိုယ့်အမိမြေကို အေးချမ်းစည်းလုံးစေချင်တဲ့စိတ်တွေ အာဏာအလွဲသုံးစားလုပ်ပြီး အပြစ်မဲ့ပြည်သူတွေကိုလူမဆန်စွာနှိပ်စက်သတ်ဖြတ်နေတဲ့ စစ်ကောင်စီကိုအမြစ်ဖျက်ချေမှုန်းချင်တဲ့ခံစားချက်တွေ မြေပြင်မှာ အများကောင်းကျိုးအတွက် စွန့်စားလှုပ်ရှားနေတဲ့သူရဲကောင်းတွေရဲ့ စွန့်လွှတ်အနစ်နာခံမှုတွေကို မှတ်တမ်းတင် ပြီးကမ္ဘာကသိအောင်ချပြချင်တဲ့ဆန္ဒတွေနဲ့ကြိုးစားအားဖြည့်ထားကြတာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
